Amazon Alexa app out performs Google Home app.

Over the recent Christmas holiday, the Amazon Alexa app achieved the 5th highest ranking of new app downloads on the App Store for Christmas Day according to Similar Web (https://www.similarweb.com/apps/top/apple/store-rank/us/all/top-free/iphone). The nearest rival Google home achieved a top ranking of 32nd on the list.  While the Google home app is used to set up either a new Google home smart speaker or Google Chromecast video streaming device,  the Alexa app is only downloaded to set up a new Amazon home speaker device.  The app download rankings can be interpreted as a proxy for how many devices sold over the holiday season. According to Amazon, its Echo Dot home speaker was the top selling device from any manufacturer across all of Amazon.com according to a recent Amazon press release (http://phx.corporate-ir.net/phoenix.zhtml?c=176060&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=2324045)
